EDI Sample Files

I am working one extending the bootstrap repo to support one of my use cases. Specifically, I am adding support for 214s. As I'm working through it I'm starting to think my sample file might not be good.

What would be the best way to generate a valid 214?

@lamarr-henry If you build your EDI specification as a Stedi Guide (based on your PDF), then on the EDI Inspector tab of your guide builder you will see a valid sample file (all sample files generated necessarily will conform to the guide you built).

One of the pitfalls of this is the data elements will have "dummy data" (e.g. "XXXX"). If you prefer, you can add "Example JSON Values" at the element level of the guide builder, and the default sample will reflect those individuals examples.

Lastly, you can reach out to your trading partner to ask directly.
